Maintaining Dialogue in Remote English Classes

This week, I’ve been thinking a lot about one of our students who has disclosed to my CT (Cooperating Teacher) that she living on her own for the past two semesters and works full time support herself. Due work schedule, goes through periods when is unable attend classes, other can. She asked reach out teachers situation so they know why attendance sporadic. I worked with this student in afternoon which had decided reserve making up at end marking period.
